THE CAUSE GREATER

Yea, what will be will be.
Everything transpires on course
And within the greater cause.
All things happen amid its scope
Even if we embrace idle’s comfort
Or strive from dawn to dusk.
For fate and destiny eternal vigil keep
All events predetermined within their will.
Thus, could it be beyond our means and power
To change that which must come to pass.
Since, what will be will surely be.

Yet the human quest is not hapless
Neither is it limited by vain venture.
For ensconced in the script of the ordained
Lie boons intended to foist and assist
The spirit in transcending heights and adversity.
Perhaps, shifting the seemingly immutable,
Or perhaps, simply fulfilling that meant to be …
All still as aspects encompassed, within that realm
And continuum of providential existence.

Mystic Entity

Notions of the present
May simply amaze the past.
Even still, what the future holds
Certainly, may bewilder the present.

Yet, life surges forward in its form
Like the continuous motion with no end.
And, further through its elusive entity,
Its unknown essence, never failing to mystify,
Like the fading mirage, enhanced by distance
Whilst disappearing into the evening sun.

Nonetheless, its boundless beauty inspires
As it moves up the mountain tops,
And floats in gentle ripples across the seas.
Enticing, whence it springs forth in the meadows
Or from the blossoming delicate rose bud
Wherein life’s presence is apparent to see.

Even if the moment of the present
Is all that evident appears,
Life surely will stamp and distinguish
All of its times, be it the future or the past.
Thus, as it steadfastly moves along in plain sight
It may not be as mysterious as it seems.

The Gift

The treasure of time

Is purely inestimable.

For no earthly riches,

Can purchase moments past

Or bargain in futility the future.

Neither, can they, in vain venture

Extend the portion preordained.

Thus my friend…

With wisdom safeguard

Thine most precious blessing

Attending to it truly earnestly

And in all dimensions most prudently.

Whispers

Echoed voices of the past,
Shouts aloud of the present.
Screams piercing the morrows
And ringing shrills of the futurities.

The babies’ cries, the children’s whines.
Lovers’ treasured soft spoken words.
Choirs rendition of harmony sweet
And actors’ portrayal truly surreal.

Pious sermon roaring from pulpit high.
Tutors’ loud reprimand to admonition’s delight.
Great scholars at rostrum impressive in speech.
Poets’ melodies within thunderous ovation grand.

Soothsayers repeated intonations, and
Alas the mourners high pitched wails, are
But forms of utterances vibrating as sound
Which begin … as whispers of the mind.

Inspiring Illusion

While traversing through life’s maze
As plans are made for its undulating course,
Lest not in resolute search for the perfect
Fail to consider the trails of the unexpected.
For perfection appeareth as the real illusion.
Whilst the unexpected presents routinely
With regularity, as life’s punctuation marks,
Thereby transforming their very essence,
And perhaps mystifying the spirit refusing
To accept, the reality of their persistence.

Therefore, also prepare ardently for possibilities
As the journey continues mostly unscripted.
Letting not the desire for that fading mirage
Ruin the toil of the plan, nor deter completely
From the full measure of the accomplished,
E’en if the somewhat unanticipated does appear.

For where lieth the victory in the quest …
If perfection in truth was not but an aspiration
As it ought to be, to motivate and to inspire
The spirit to transcend the continuum of change.

ASSURANCE

For everything there is a purpose …
Sometimes certain things occur,
Perhaps of sudden, perhaps of not.
And are accompanied by such untold grief
That repeated contemplation deep
Offers no answers sought.
Then the grief assumes unrelenting form,
Whilst life continues without stopping a pause
To cradle the desperate mind in its despair.

Yet for that tear, a smile shall linger still…
Even though never-ending the bleakness appears,
Seek solace amidst the comforting assurance
That faith will find its way to reappear,
And when quantified, will surely multiply relief.
For the Lord who knoweth the scope of all things
Shall forever embrace thee in his grace
Surround you at all times with his love
And assuredly … will by his mighty hand ease the pain.
